The Ogham Alphabet

Ogham ∕ōm∕ is an early form of Irish inscription dating to the 4th century A.D. It is thought by many scholars to be a cipher of the Latin alphabet and is sometimes referred to as the Celtic “tree alphabet,” because each rune in Ogham corresponds to the name of a particular tree.
